Whenever I change patches on the microkorg, it changes the pattern on the EMX-1 (I have them connected via MIDI, obviously).
Any ideas how to get around this? It is pretty annoying. |

Hi
Easiest way around this is to set microKorg to a different midi-channel than The EMX synth part 1.
Otherwise look up 'midi filter' in your microKorg manual and disable 'Program Changes'. Or do the same thing with the EMX.

do it om the emx, it will be synced up anyways even if you filter everything... (by the way why is your emx synced to your synth and not the other way arround!?!?)
press midi, then hold shift and press midi utility(pad 12) go to filter... and rotate the main knob to make everything xxxx.... then make sure to hit 12 again
I don't know if you have to for this one but normally after editing global settings you'd press write to save the settings. |
