Thats a great idea and should be very profitable for KORG.
Millions of DS units have been sold world wide.
Regards.

Just blogged about it ;D
Pretty neat. Hope they release it in North America & Europe. Personally, I want this on the iPhone too ;D.
There willl be over 10 Million iPhones by the end of the year. Plus, can you imagine paching/unpaching cables with the accelerometer? Whoa!
Thanks klangsulfat,

DS is region free, you know. You can play any "game" with a DS from anywhere. So, you could easily import that for a locally bought DS. |

Guys, that's amazing!!
I totally love the idea!!
The release of iPhone SDK will open the way for great new applications development!
I hope I'll have a synth on my iPhone ASAP _________________ Diego http://www.myspace.com/diegoinmusic

You know what would be funny? If the DS or the iPhone get a sequencer with more features than the the ones in the M3 and Oasys. Then, people will simply buy that and work with these portables sitting on top of their machines ;
The added benefit is that with Daz's OSX librarian software (quick, port it now!), you could move freely from machine to machine, bringing your high-quality sequencer with you. Man, too bad I'm already involved in something else or I would do it myself
It's bound to happend...it's just a question of time now.

Note that the KORG DS-10 will not be sold by Korg, it will be sold by the company named AQ Interactive in Japan.
According to their official blog, they have a plan to release the product in other countries but the details are not decided yet. They strongly think to deliver the product for many people all over the world!
I'm really surprised that the first video on youtube got over 130,000 access and now in "#16 - Most Viewed (This Week) - Music" in the world!
Thanks!
