Hi,
I went to Jean Michel Jarre's concert in Brussels two days ago. They played Oxygene with the original (analog) synthesisers. No sequencers (three other chaps played in the background) and little visual effects by Jarre's standards. This was not one of those mass concerts he would give in the 80s. Instead, the Brussel's Cirque Royal gathered a limited number of hardcore fans in their 30s and 40s .
Still, it was a delightful musical experience. As for Jarre himself, most of the time he would perform like this:

enjoy!

Very nice !!!!!!!!!1
That said though, I'm glad I never booked a ticket now. I would rather not see at all than to see him reduced to such a tiny stage. It would only destroy what amazing memories I have of his concerts in the 80's.
The guy is a GOD and to see him playing on a tiny stage for me would only spoil my memories.
Regards.

I see what you mean Sharp. On the other hand, such concert gives you a unique opportunity to have closer look at him and his equipment. I mean with a 250mm zoom you could virtually see his fingers and synthesiser knobs! Such level of intimacy would have been impossible two decades ago...
