I was putting new samples into my esx sound bank today when I ran into this particular loop I had somewhere which I've never noticed before in my library, so I couldn't resist but stick it into ableton, slice it into a drum rack and put together a quick song.
I realize this is off topic but this is my home forum and it was meant for the esx . Also I don't usually randomly share songs but I figured there's a large amount of people that like this kind of drum n bass.

good sounds goin on here man , im pretty imressed
lovin the soft bowp-bowp bassline and the general energy . The vibe is quite jumpy but still has a kickin aggressivness underlying .
Would like to hear a finished version of that .
thats the most natural sounding esx roller ive yet heard from the machine . Takes me back to 98' this one |

silly it's not esx... I specifically said I chopped the sample and mapped it across a keyboard in ableton. ESX can not sound that good. _________________

although... come to think of it with some effort it would totally be possible to do this on the esx.... except the bassline wouldn't sound as good. _________________
