Ok so I purchased a new Kaossilator and a Kaoss Pad 3. The Kaossilator plays fine so I tried to run it into my Kaoss Pad like the folks do on YouTube. I cannot hear anything out of the Kosssilator or Kaoss Pad. I have read the manual for the Kaoss Pad like three times. What am I missing? I am trying to have the Kaossilator play thru and sample in the Kaoss Pad.

Help please, thanks.

do you have the right input selected?

Yes, I have selected "line" since it is RCA to RCA.

Yes, I can hear it when I push the 7 button. Also, if I play something into the Kaoss Pad even though I cannot hear it going in, I can hear it once I record it.
