This might seem like a silly question, but where in relation to your feet do you guys place your sustain pedals for playing while standing up. For example: to the left of the feet, to the right, right in front of you, between the feet etc. Is there a preferred posture or something for playing while standing up just like there is for sitting down? I've been playing piano patches with sustain on my korg, while standing up, but for some reason it just feels kind of awkward; so I'm curious as to how other people set up their stuff and how it works for them. |

my pedal keeps moving during gigs, I have to go and catch it really far some times... no way to nail it on the floor.

somewhere between the legs of the stand, in front of my right foot, but not like this "I" (vertical) cos it uses to move a lot, I prefer to use it like this "--" (horizontal)

Hi Lorenzo
What a good idea to put it horizontally instead!!!
I was about to glue it to the floor, but you gave me such a good idea - it moves much less. When sitting down I can also hold it still with my left foot.
Thanks- I was getting so tired of chasing it
Regards from
