hi every one
i just got my KP3 and KOASILLITOR working together and now i want to expand.
what stuff would i need to purchase?
I was looking in to a midi controller and a mixer,im trying to make some hip hop/dance/techno what ver sort of music.
im a new comer to this so im not looking for expensive stuff.on a budget really.
im from the UK

well if your planning on using a midi controller your going to need software for sound
reason 4 is what i use and reccomend, but the new version is around $500
there are other options, but i love the reason environment
your also going to want to consider some decent reference monitors and recording capabilities... again there are tons of options for that. i personally use ProTools and absolutely love it. using reason and protools together is perfect.
here is a great site to get an idea of quality without breaking the bank

look through the "production tools" and when on that page look to the left... there you will see controllers, interfaces, samplers, synths, effects, mixers, studio monitors, recording capabilities, and dj equipment
if your getting into hip hop consider a turntable and a 2 channel skratch mixer
