Not likely Smile
That said, all due respect to Yamaha for knowing their customers. They know exactly what the people want, and they keep them hanging by releasing new keyboards with very little beyond anything you would consider a major upgrade. It's all about factory preset sounds and styles that make that sale for Yamaha.

Not features as they are always catches, just like the Tyros 2 took 3 hours to save 1GB of samples.

Regards.
Sharp.

Yamaha has sound great sounding instruments, that is for sure... but some things baffle me.

For one, why are the layouts often different on each keyboard? Often times, getting a new one requires learning where all the new buttons are and what everything does. On a korg, I generally know the location of the buttons from model to model and they are just squarely lined up and hard plastic. On a Yamaha, they are sometimes rubber, cheap feeling and set in odd circular patterns which arn't well suited for live play.

I would have to say, I like Yamaha's sound, but wouldn't want to play with one live. For that, I would rather have the rugged, form fitting layout of a Korg.
