I've been using di's up to now for stage sound but I'm not always satisfied. Depends on soundman. I want something at least dependable. What amplifiers work best with Classic for performance sound? I'm mainly concerned about being able to hear clearly when I play with a 5-piece (2 guitarists). And I like to play woodwinds live through the classic. It has nice effects esp. for flute. I've tried several and the best up to now has been the Roland Cube 60. Mass/size is a factor. The smaller the better. |

You could try in-ear monitors for yourself. The thing you have to bear in mind is that the rest of your band may want to hear your keyboards through the DI anyway, i know that my band's vocalist relies on my keyboards a lot for his performance. |

Thanks. We have thought about that but the cost of wireless tech has been a barrier. How much for in-ear systems? And can you use the same unit for mic transmission? |
