I've tried to create a style by copying existing one. Original style was 140, and new one I changed to 120. I don't know if this is relevant but as Variation 2 I used yet another style (I wanted to combine two). Anyway, after I saved it each time I recall new style it's tempo comes back to 140... I tried editing it again, changed tempo saved, but it keeps coming up with wrong tempo. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I have Pa800 with OS 2.01

You made it little bit confusing. So what you need is only one Tempo which is 120 , right?
If so, how did you try to save the new tempo?

Yes. This is what I do.
1. Select Appropriate Style with tempo XXX
2. Hit "record" button and choose "Record/Edit Current Style"
3. Change tempo to YYY
4. Select "Write Style" rename and save it to new location.
5. Exit from Record mode.

Now when I choose new style (copy of the old one with new temp), it's tempo is original XXX instead of YYY that I chose...
I tried to do this with another style, and same thing Sad

No, you can't save your tempo this way. You must exit from Record mode, and in style mode save the new tempo under "write current style perf.",or something like that. It makes sense, because then you can change/save the temp on the fly anytime, without having to go to another mode.

Ah, I didn't think of that! So it's actually saved in Performance not in style. Thanks I will try that!

No, its saved in Style and Performance, whichever you like, they are 2
different things, it can be saved in Style with its own preferences or it
can be saved as a part of Performance. Style Record Mode, Style Play Mode
and Performance Mode are 3 different things with its own setting and pref.
