I am using the tuner to tune a piano in manual pitch mode. When I pull out the power adapter, and use fresh batteries, it seems to work fine. When I plug in the power adapter, it has trouble registering at all when I strike the key. The other functions seem to be OK when using the AC adapter (like the sound function, or the metronome).
Thanks for any suggestions! _________________ Edward Childs

I am not familiar with the DTM ... did it come with the power adapter or is this something you bought separately ? Maybe it's not providing enough power, would be my guess

Thanks for the reply. It was sold with the instrument. The DTM-12 has a slow /fast/manual tune mode and also a metronome function.[/quote] _________________ Edward Childs
