A real simple question (for those who know). How do I select drum kit from a MIDI sequencer program (in my case it's Sonar . I checked all banks from loaded Master_Korg_PA800_os20.ins file and none of them has drum kits just the instruments. |

Hi,
I am not sure I understand your question, since the .ins file you downloaded does include all Korg Pa800 Drumkits and GM Sets
After importing the .ins file into Sonar, you must select Output Channels for 2 instrument categories: Korg PA800 and Korg PA800 DrumKits.
In your other thread Can't change PA800 style instrument in Sonar 8, the Assign Instrument screenshot only shows Korg PA800! _________________ Korg Pa800, Pa50, i30, Hammond E111, Edirol PCR-800, M-Audio Audiophile FW, Cakewalk Sonar LE, Band-In-A-Box, Harmony Assistant, VB3, MrRay73, Pianoteq... |

Hi Bratan,
In the instrument setup within Sonar you have to set up a channel map in which say channel 10 is mapped to Pa800 Drums or GM Drums. The default mapping is that all tracks are mapped to instrument patches.
Best regards,
