I don't think so, but I don't own an mK, so I am not 100% sure. However IIRC the PC .PRG files are actually just standard MIDI files containing sysex for the program, so you might be able to use that fact to help with the conversion.

thanks to the programmers of the OS X version. i recently bought a very nice mac and was almost depressed that i would no longer be able to use the software for my microkorg.

does anyone know about using a USB adapter to plugin midi devices? is this possible with the software?

To make that more clear, the site says: "Regarding newer Intel Macs, operation was confirmed under Rosetta but this version does not run as native Universal Binary." DOes that mean it does, or doesn't work on intel macs???

It does, just not under Cocoa (the basis for all OS X programming). It uses Rosetta to support the more aged Carbon language.

Universal Binary is the name for native support of the Intel architecture now in use in all Macintosh models.

So yes. It runs on any Intel Mac. I myself have the latest Macbook Pro with the Santa Rosa chipset. Runs just fine, though you will notice that it is obviously an old OS 9 program (again, hence the reason it runs under Rosetta), looking more like a Windows program, than the polished Mac programs you're probably accustomed to.

Now if I could just figure out how to get the keyboard and editor to interact..

I can't get this to work at all.

Each time I try to do anything I get an error message saying that there was no response.

Any suggestions? Looks to be set up ok

I'm also having trouble with the sound editor.
It says "Microkorg Did Not Respond" no matter what i do.

Does someone have a procedure I can follow to make sure everything is setup properly, with the right properties checked etc?

I'm using:
IMAC Desktop, Focusrite Saffire, Microkorg.

Thanks,

JDS1.
