Hi there. I'm a trumpet player in a band looking to expand my sound a little (or a lot). Im considering a Korg AX300G for some real time control and have a few concerns about compatability.

I would be using an SM57, through an XLR cable and an XLR to 1/4" jack connector to plug in to the pedal.

As i understand it a guitar signal is unbalanced as it enters the pedal. Assumg the pedal is made to account for this would the pedal still work well with a stronger balanced signal from a microhone? Also would the kind of sound a trumpet creates produce any adverse reactions from the effects processors?

Bit of a techie question but iv not found much abot this online.

Thanks for your time!
