Just wondering about the life expectancy on the tube in the SV-1. If I'm not mistaken, I read in the manual that the tube is only implemented when the amp simulators are on. So if I leave my SV-1 on for hours at a time, but don't turn on the amp simulator this should lengthen the life of the tube? _________________ "Music is the space between the notes." - Claude Debussy |

Tubes usually last a long time. I am primarily a guitar player. I have had tube amps for years that never needed a tube change. I would guess that you will probably get a new keyboard before the tube fails. |
