Well, as the title says, my main concern is about midi especifications. I'm needing a sampler (never had one), and this microSampler seems to be the deal.

I have a M50, and I was wondering, can I send midi information to trigger samples on the microSampler trough the midi out of the M50 to the midi in of microSampler?

Thanks!

Yes, you can trigger samples using the "note on" and "note off" messages, velocity supported, and tweak effect parameters via CC#12 and 13 - all on the one selected MIDI channel. Nothing more, though - any other parameters are controlled by SysEx and NRPN messages.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. But I have another question:

What has better sampling, microSampler or Kurzweil K2500RS?

I'd love to have the Kurzweil sound and engine, but since it's old, I was wondering about the sampling capabilities.

Thanks!

Wow! These two play in different leagues for sure. K2500RS is a synth engine mainly, rack-mounted... as far as I googled it's audio processing specs, they are the same (48 kHz 16 bit, even 20 bit for Kurzweil). So, it's the matter of the DAC quality, which is arguable (microSampler is obviously based on the cheap hardware, though it's up to date).

The other interesting thing is signal flow - you could check it by manuals of each product.

Sorry, but: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=K2500RS+sampling+memory

And anything about microSampler is cleared by the manual, available on the Korg website.
