If you are in the U.S. and want to pre-order, contact NovaMusik. They have a "pre-order special". If you contact them (phone or email) you can get a price lower than the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). Their pre-order discounted prices are normally available up until the product ships to stores.

For example, they quoted me a price of $3,599 for the Kronos 88 ($200 less than the MAP of $3,799). I got Sweetwater to match that price. |

I sent novamusik an email regarding the Kronos 61 and I was given a price of $2799. Looks like they are taking 200 off MAP for all models. _________________ Openlabs Neko LX5, Reaper 4 alpha, Presonus Studio One Pro, Ableton Live |

Seems like a lot of cake for a hardware unit in the two zero one one. Just sayin'. I think they're capitalizing on the dwindling percentage of hardware holdouts or well-heeled touring guys. I could put this on a credit card and justify it via my steady show job. But for half the MAP or whatever on the 73 I could outfit a dedicated music computer, software and controller. And the time is now for making music live (reliably) with software synths. |

I don't think Korg has announced availability yet. If history serves as any guide, most new keyboards announced at NAMM are available in March at the earliest. |
