Good find Peter! If that doesn't prove that Kronos = OASYS, I don't know what does...

I guess there is no prove necessary at all. All the EXis KRONOS owners will get with their new workstation have exactly the same naming, it is not K-STR MOD-7v2. Furthermore in the dedicated description it does not say newly developed or improved it just describes the features and they are "very" close to OASYS. The technology interested who follows technological developments will know from where it is coming. But at the end - at least to me - it is all about the sound and the inspiration I get from an instrument and both OASYS AND KRONOS are perfect examples of that kind of instrument.

As ever, you're right Peter!

The KSL is sublime and fankly is only possible because of the O - and for as long as the components work, the O will remain the heart and lungs of my setup.

As a Yamaha Motif owner, I am curious about other third party library support for Oasys (and hopefully Kronos).

I hope this means that prices for Oasys sound libraries from Karo, will fall out of the stratosphere, down to earth, where real people live.....
