I know it's superficial but the side end caps look very plain and a bit bubbly from the few pictures and videos. I hope they are not hollow-feeling plastic. I am hoping they are solid. Perhaps we could get some aftermarket nice leopard wood panels made for it. It would bring the class up. |

Wondering the same thing. Looks like they will be full off fingerprints aswell
Can't wait to get my hands on one of these beasts to try it out.
PS. just me who thinks the Oasys end caps are the best looking end caps of any WS ever built? _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.

My question:
Hi Sharp,, first of all thank you very much for your detailed report, see
that you talked about the glossy side panels of kronos, I would linke to
have your feedback about the quality of materials used in these parts
May seem a minor issue, but with a view to using the machine
live is interesting to know if the materials are robust or not.
thank you very much again

My feeling is that they are robust enough to do the job, although not as strong as previous materials used. The glossy finish will get dirty and scratch very easily if you don't look after your keyboards.
Goes without saying though.
Regards
Sharp

Absolutely, they look and feel solid, not to mention serve functional as ventilation.
