|
|
The joystick on my Korg D3200 will not let the arrow move around, although it will still let me click..but it's frozen in one spot. Everything else seems to function properly, except for the fast forward and rewind buttons. I'm trying to find out if anyone else has had these problems before..if it's covered under a warranty, if one of you know how to solve the problem, or if Korg is able to repair this.
Thanks for the help. |

Hi
It shouldnt be a problem to fix this.
As long as you are in your guarantee period and its deemed that the issue is not the users fault, then it should be fixed under warranty.
Call your local distributor to check first though. _________________ Mike Molloy

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem with my D3200 pointer. I just bought this D3200 recorder from someone and I dont have any guarantee.
What happens is when I start my D3200 everything works fine also the pointer works ok, but after 10 minutes or so, the pointer starts to freeze and it's stuck at one place.
When I shut down the machine and start it up again, the pointer drifts straight to the left top corner and stays there and I cannot move it anymore.
When I shut down the D3200 and do not use it anymore for a hour or so the pointer works ok again for 10 minutes or so, and then I have the same problem again, the pointer is stuck again.
Does anybody have an idea what might be wrong and how to fix this. Please help.
Rgrds,

Never seen anything like this on my unit so have no idea what might be causing your problem.
Have you tried calibrating again? Hit the System Midi button and bottom left of screen is the calibration button. If you do this in the first 10mins when your controller is working you should complete in plenty of time. Then restart and see if that makes any difference. _________________ Plugged in:Fantom G6, Jupiter-80, V-Synth GTv2, XV5050, SRV330, Symphony Module, ER mk2, D3200, iMS20, iPolysix, Alesis M1 Active Mk2

Cello,
Thanks for your post. I tried calibrating twice but that didn't solve the problem.
Every now and then I see someone with same problem like chadvickers who started this post, but so far nobody told me what to do about it.
