Just received word that my pre-order won't ship until mid June. Don't know if that has anything to do with my specific order or all but I assume all.

Wonder why a month delay? I remember when we were waiting for the Virus TI to ship... month after month after month of delays. _________________

Maybe to incorporate all the great feedback from the forum......
More sampler tools, additional engines, endcaps, tilt screen, iPad connectivity, etc. Wishful thinking I guess.
Probably just a part/equipment that they are waiting on.

I'm on sweetwatters list but apparently I am way down as I have heard nothing. I might consider the Nord organ if I have to wait to long.

That screws up lots of my plans if it's true. Was planning to work with Kronos on a gig starting mid June and going on for 8 weeks, but then I might have to swich system in the middle or just skip Kronos this summer... |

Hmmm... I'm around #5 on Sweetwater's K-88 pre-order list and I haven't heard anything. |

Yeah, if anyone hasn't caught the news lately, Japan was hit with a severe earthquake in the northern third of the country, and terrible tsunamis afterward. My brother and his Japanese wife just came back from Japan last night, and just missed the devastation by several hours. I was led to pray for them and Japan as well during their flight. If anyone has any religious inclinations, I'd highly suggest you pray for this poor planet, because it seems that both social and natural forces are trying to tear it apart. _________________ PRAY FOR THIS PLANET!! |

People say all sorts of things, don't they?
What we'd originally told people was April for first units in stores, with some regions a month later (May). Now it looks more like May, with some regions a month later (June). This is unrelated to the earthquake.
Best regards,

Just qouting Dan from another thread.
Hoping for May/early June here, would make my life so much easier! |

During the last years delivery announcements of musical gear have become about the most messy and unreliable thing you could think about. Anything from totally silly years(!) in case of the Arturia Origin down to several months delay in many other cases have rather become the rule than the exception. From my view this is no way to deal with the public any more.
I must admit that my understanding and tolerance for big delays has become very limited over the last years. It's a nasty game, and as a customer, you simply feel being kidded all the time.
One month is no big thing, but I already get that irritated feeling again... |
