It's just Musikmesse smalltalk: ro relevant new information of any kind beyond what we already know.

The only remarkable thing is how reluctant Andreas Gundlach is to become concrete in any way concerning Kronos price and availability. As I said elsewhere: that's certainly no good sign about the state of things.

At the same time, I hear a lot about rapidly growing attention for the sounds of the new Roland "Jupiter 80" in and around Musikmesse. All in all I think Korg should have been present here in a much more powerful and impressive way, with new material on the device (like Rick's videos, a published manual, more sounds played etc.) and concrete information on delivery and price, even if implying delays.

Musikmesse really seems to become Roland's party over her in Europe, and Korg doesn't behave decisive enough to show any dominance. Well, it's up to them, but from what I hear meanhwile, the pobability is rising that they will loose not few customers due to their uncertain behavior.

I didn't hear anything new. At one point he was asked about availability and responded that it was hard to tell given recent events. Nothing on price except that it will cost "what good workstations cost." Laughing

Thanks for the dose of humor, Orpheus!

Had some bad days now during a short vacation, quarreling with audio interface driver issues for hours (instead of recording), and then a phone call at my big German reseller did not much to raise my mood, when I didn't get the promised Messe news update, but a clear cut "ask again in some weeks" like above. Further phone calls to friends visiting Musikmesse rather confirmed than changed that bad mood.

Your post got me back into the zone of being able to laugh about myself. Laughing
