So since there's no cue list... say I want to play three sequences in a row without being at the Kronos to start each one. Is there any way to accomplish this without additional hardware (like a separate sequencer)? is there some function in the set list that would enable me to do this? I've never had to deal with not having this feature on a workstation before... any thoughts or suggestions?

Set List Slots can contain songs, and you can step from Slot to Slot using the assignable switch. You can also start/stop song playback from the switch - but there's only one switch input, and it can't do both at once.

If this is for backing tracks, a more simple approach might be to use audio tracks, with a stereo pair per song. That way, you could have all of the songs play one after another within a single "Song" file.

Can this be automated in some way?

Via MIDI, yes. Internally, I'm not finding a way.

Thanks so much - at least there's some way to do it through audio tracks, I can live with that.

Dan Phillips;

On the KRONOS, in the "Set List" feature, can you use the "Open Sampling" feature while in the set list..?
