|
|
Hi there, I'm not sure exactly how it happened but today I noticed that many of the knobs on the synth panel of ims-20 keep snapping back to the default value when I change them. The strange thing is that some work fine, and others behave strangely. Specifically the attack, sustain, release on EG 2, and the LP filter peak seem to be stuck on their default values. The weird thing is that it even happens when I open a different project or sound - many of the default sounds don't work or sound different because the sustain level is stuck at 0.
I've tried restarting ims-20, restarting my ipad, even reinstalled the ims-20 app but I've had no luck fixing this. Anyone else know how to fix this? |

What session and sound/preset does that happen on? |

Hey all...I'm new here, and this question is what led me to this awesome resource
I am working with the dubstep template, and was wondering how I can reset the synth effect knobs (wobble bass currently) so that they are not recorded. The wobble bass waveform knob (middle) keeps moving, which is causing the "wobble" effect.
I'd like to set this to a static value for what I'm doing, but cannot seem to find the associated Rec button to overwrite. I've spent a lot of time pouring through the online manuals as well as these forums and can't find anything on the topic.
To sum up, I'm wondering how I can record effect manipulation via knob tweaks when making patterns. If I can figure this out then I can just overwrite the wobble bass preset.
Let me know if there is a better way to go about this. |

You need to go to the sequencer, hit the parameter button on the left, then press the Channel A PARAM1 button, then you can change the parameter value to None, or something other than Mod Gen Frequency. |

Thanks XM. Are you able to record knob adjustments within a pattern? Also...you were right, it was the freq/times I needed to adjust. I adjusted the parameter for chan A to off, which allows me to adujst freq/timing.
What about wave form for modulation gen (it's locked @ the 12 o'clock position)? I need to find some reading material on this...it's overwhelming right now (but awesome!). |
