Hi!

Do you know which Wah-pedal Greg Phillinganes use in the Korg SV-1 demonstration video?

the wah is an effect in the SV-1,

an expression pedal can be used to operate the wah, it looks like he is using the yamaha F7 expression pedal...

Do you think an Ernie Ball Jr. 25K ohm Volume pedal would work with the SV-1 for expression? I use one for my Line 6 M9 on my guitar rig. I have two and thought about getting the 250K ohm one for my Volume pedal on that pedalboard, so I can reuse my current one on the SV-1. I guess when my keyboard comes in this week, I'll give it a try!

So I tried using the Ernie Ball Jr. Volume pedal as an Expression pedal last night. Used the calibration instructions from the manual and no matter what I did, the exp pedal is reversed. Up is down, etc.

think it needs to be a TRS to two TS connector cable? I can make one up and plug one TS into the IN, one TS into the OUT and the TRS to the keyboard.

Otherwise, I'll be ordering the Yamaha or Korg model

Talked to Korg Support. Indeed, they think it might require a TRS to two TS cable in order to reverse the polarity of that particular pedal. I'll make one up tonight!

Okay, so I did the TRS to two TS cable last night. it works with the Ernie Ball JR.

EDIT: Found answers on page 2 and 3 of this forum. DUh!

I will still include the following from my original query:

When the pedal is all the way to "0" you can still hear the keyboard thru the speakers, although faint. Then when I engage the pedal, the volume jumps to over half, then full.

When using the Wah, there just wasn't much range from heel to toe. Sad

Not liking those things very much and hope they can be fixed in future OS updates.
