I saw a Kronos NAMM video where a new reverb algorithm was demonstrated that sounded really good to me, in stark contrast to the reverb the M3 has on tap.

Other than this new reverb, and some of the fx that are built into EP-1 programs for example; other than that are the fx algorithms the same as what Oayses had on tap? And did the M3 have the same fx as the Oayses (just less instances of them?).

The fx, esp. the reverb on the M3, is subpar, so I was wondering what we're inheriting or possibly getting new on the Kronos. Was reading about the SOS article on the Kronos about the 185 algorithms (which is close to the number on the M3), that's where the question mark came up.

And I'm still curious about the enhancements to the M3 drum track feature; I haven't heard any specifics on that yet.

Yes, other than the built-in effects in the EP-1, the KRONOS has the same effects as the OASYS.

The OASYS & KRONOS have a few additional effects, in comparison to the M3:
Stereo Compressor (the M3's "Stereo Compressor" is called "Stereo Dyna Comp" on the KRONOS and OASYS)
Stereo Expander
Stereo Multiband Compressor
Stereo Noise Reduction
Stereo Master 3EQ
Guitar Amp Model + Cabinet
Bi Chorus
Bi Phaser
Stereo Frequency Shifter
Rotary Speaker Pro CX
Multiband Mod Delay
Reverse Delay (and Reverse BPM Delay)
Sequence BPM Delay
Overb

The KRONOS comes with additional preset drum patterns, in comparison to the M3. If there are other differences, they're escaping me at the moment.
