Hi Duby2
I fail to understand or see any logic in your argument.
Please list the problems that Korg needs to "fix" - by that I mean list down everything that doesn't work according to the keyboard's specifications and manuals - NOT a list of what you would like for free.
So - WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE KEYBOARD? WHAT DOESN'T WORK CORRECTLY? Where does the keyboard functionality contradict the specifications and User Guides?
Why should Korg "upgrade" your keyboard when there is nothing "wrong" with it? Particularly when they have actually given us new superb features which are not even mentioned in the specs - AND for free!!!! Yamaha don't - any extras from Yamaha you pay for - big time.
I don't think you realise how lucky you are....

Frans Learn , I CAN play on evry Unit, but it,s better to heave better KB.And better sounds, I,m not working for them no, They work for my needs.
I agree, I say evry time T 4 Sounds great, So?
I heave the bucks and i play evry day almoust , And i dont say KORG is bad, I just dont know yet,
But for the moment, YAMAHA sounds so live on stage,
I heave 3 KB s here, 2X T 4 PA1X Pro Elite,.
Dont get me wrong man, you shud see my CAR than Hahahaha. Expensive toy!

Frans It,s not only a KORG forum, or 3X 2 X pa 800 bla bla, Its a great forum for evry kind of Music lover, and KB player, Yes the name is KORG forum, But there is even other things we talk about here,

Hi Asena - no I am not confused at all - I think Duby2's and my messages are really out of context with regard to this thread - I was purely restating the general points about Korg's excellent free enhancements and free upgrades it's not about PA3X at all really - shouldn't be in this thread - sorry - we went off on another tangent.
Regarding your points - I am delighted you love the T4 - it is always very personal and no-one is right or wrong. I love Korg sounds on my PA2Xpro and M3 and so far nothing else beats them for me. The OS is as important to me as the sounds. If you closely analyse the T3 and the PA2Xpro you will quickly discover the superiority of the Korg particularly in the OS (there is very little change in the T4 OS). My findings are still that the Yamaha lacks authenticity in its styles, the OS is not satisfactory for performing or recording - yes I like the Yamaha sounds but they don't top my PA2Xpro and M3 - too much DSP. Yet again - just my personal views and direct experiences. I would not consider a Yamaha arranger keyboard until they put some effort into its usability. Right now I am locked into Korg because nothing else meets my needs.

Hi pete, Hope you are fine bro. I love my Personal set file on the 2 X, And i love the OS on KORG! You are absolutley rigth, OS is very important.
YAMAHA gives me the specific sounds that otherwise i must use My mac, And Another KB, and Vir/KONTAKT and so, Just for that, i buyed the T 4, And belive me , it was sooooo cheap,So i buyed it!
3 X is coming son, I hope.When its here i will sample some of the sounds and than just use t 4 at home and recordings.I think , and hope 3 x is a killer. See you bro

You should already know that it is an International legal offense to mention anything except Korg on this forum - many have been severely punished already.
Get yourself a good lawyer just in case...
On a serious note... you have a great collection of keyboards already - do you use your M3 MIDI'd from your PA1/2? If you decide to go with T4 would you primarily use that as a sound source?
I bought the i3 (sold my Yamaha PSR6700!!!)
then I bought the i30 and put all the classic styles from the i3 onto it
then I bought the PA1Xpro and put all the classic styles from the i3 and i30 onto it
then I bought the PSR s910 and sold it (didn't perform to its specifications)
then I bought the Tyros 3 and sold it (why did I buy it? Think I had a "senior moment"!!)
then I bought the PA2Xpro and put all the classic styles from the i3, i30 and PA1XPro onto it.
I hope the PA3Xpro is big enough for all my older styles !!!!!

Well you Karmathanever make a good point .. I like you have had the 13 and 130 and pa80 and now pa800 .. and love them all . I did like the i3 ROM update , you got a chip from korg and put it in youself and all that was in the update or User's Manual
work.. ok
now Korg needs to fix the os 2.01 .
first ..
on page 168 , it said Harmony track can be or seq1 1to 16 or on seq2 1 to 16 or swq 1+2 1to 16,, so far great and then it can be on Global good so far and it does work ,,
now or page 226 ... Harmony , Latch on/off and it works fine some time ..
if you play a song in the song play mode , and change the the track to any thing ( like track 1 thur 16 ) the Latch on/off will gray out and not work ,, if you put the Harmony track to off , then the Latch on/off will work again .
Now when I play a seq and have my Harmony on track 4 and set the Harmony track to 4 it will work but there in no Latch ,, the Harmony track has to be off for the latch to work ,, this I think is a bug in the os . or I would like some one to show me how do this .
And next bug.. in the song book ,, you pick a song , press Select and that works but now the screen does not jump back to home page ,, you must press EXIT .. or what am I doing wrong .. now this is in the manual ..
and thanks for all your help .. everyone .
Please prove me wrong , so I can do it right ..
