Maybe true as far as 50% of the voting is made by a jury and only the other 50% by people calling.
Personally if I were a "real" musician I would avoid beeing pushed in such a contest. How many groups/artists (besides maybe ABBA) has emerged succesfully from such a contest?

That song (IMHO) turns to be good if you hear it with more detail. I remember that one of the arguments this song was chosen, was that it is aside of the ESC "mainstream", like "from other world" as someone stated which could be the point for a good placement (But not for the ESC sirs!).
The song that placed second sahe presented for internal voting (push forward-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7x28bKbrV4) was more ESC-typish and could have been get more points but I am happy with that style break and hope more countries to come with something like that.

Oh there are a lot of good ladies here with a nice vox and styles but as I stated before, the ESC isn't the ultimate target a musician should aspire (Sorry if you read this Lena!)
But I have to add that she is one of the very few german ESC participants which I haven't to be ashamed of

I would include almost the 80% of people from all countries that take part!!

It's because the competition is for countries that are members of the EBU, hence EURO.
