Correct. And last night I tested Jerry's tip and it worked like a charm. I set Portamento to 0 on both oscillators then set the Portamento PS to every possible paramater and it worked like a charm. Now I have to rethink my pedal arrangement. _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |

To make sure I'm clear here... you want to use a pedal in the sustain jack to control leslie on off locally without sustain?
That should be do-able at the program level; sustain would be an Amp section modulator (sus (+) = infinite sustain in ADSR envelope) and that parameter could be essentially disabled there, as could velocity sensitivity if you wanted a "real-er" organ.
In combi mode, using the "corrected" programs would mean that sustain would be just another available controller - not necessarily routed to a dedicated effect. In combi mode the MIDI filter could be used to disable transmission of sustain pedal controllers so you wouldn't have to worry about MIDI'd gear playing stray sustain messages.
