Is it possible to trigger a sample upon release of the key?
I plan to use multisamples of a French harpsichord. A program would consist in 2 oscillators:
¤ a multisample of the strings, where a sample is triggered upon note on
¤ a multisample of the jack returning to its initial position, where a sample is triggered upon note off (key release)
Is that possible with HD-1? |

I don't see why not, it's been possible since Trinity at least? Each oscillator has a Delay parameter, it has a setting of KeyOff as the last setting, which triggers the oscillator on key release. Just reading it in Trinity parameter guide. |

This feature is also handy for adding string slide noise (sound of fingers on strings moving to next fret/chord) to add realism to guitar patches.

Well then why doesn't Korg work on it's guitar programs to get something like has been possible on Yamaha's Motif range of synths since 2003???? _________________ MIDITEK MUSIC PRODUCTION RECORDING & TUITION- albums, demos, jingles. Recording, arranging & mixing. |
