I noticed something on this video from musikmesse:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LV46a2nSOU

This guy is changing sounds, at some point - not in setlist mode.
If i'm hearing correct, than the sound cuts off when he's changing presets with the data wheel or the +/- buttons.
Come to think of it, i only noticed SST in video demos - when in setlist mode.
Is this correct, or am i hearing wrong or getting confused?

the smooth sound transitions only work between two patches

so if i have three patches

piano, stings, organ

If i switch from strings to organ, i get SST, if i switch from strings, accidently hit organ without releasing my hand from the keys or sustain, then go to piano, you will get a sound cut.

Does this even work when, for exemple, you keep your hand on the keys to maintain a string chord, and then switch to another sound ? Or does this just keep the release fade after you release the keys ?

I mean can you hold a chord (sustain) after switching yo another sound ?
