Since the 60s Renault have been equipping small utility vehicles with a 'girafon' ('baby giraffe', in French), that is a roof door that allows loading and transporting of long objects, ladders, etc. :

All musician's cars should have a 'girafon' Cool

I will be picking my Kronos up in my SmartCar. I got the optional moonroof and it fits in it perfect. Although I have to watch out for traffic lights. I use SmartCar exclusive for all my live Gigs.

oh, did they already deliver the Kronos 25? Shocked Rolling Eyes

Yep, its called the NanoKRON.. CostCo Store version. It doesnt have a touchcreen, data wheel, or sequencer either.. since it isnt really needed anyway!!. I saved a whopping $200 and got a free DVD from Jordan Rudess.

I fit a Korg Triton LE-88 in my Honda Civic once. I had to lay down my back seat to expand the trunk space, but it worked. I wouldn't want to do that on a regular basis though.

Dear Korg, you've now mastered just about all the features most keyboard players could want, the next one you gotta work on is FOLDING keyboards.

For your serious reply for what I consider to be a real issue.

I fit my TR88 in my 02 Chevy Malibu. Had to fold the rear seats down but it worked. Like Gargamel, i wouldnt want to have to do that on a regular basis though. My uncle in law has been renting a 2010 Chevy HHR since his car is in the shop. He is a drummer and gigs often and says when he folds the rear seat down he able to get a full 7 piece drum kit and all harware in the back of it no problem.
