ordered today, it should be here Friday or Monday, it ships tomorow morning.
I have few questions though for the ones that know IT:
1. I can hook it up to a SoundCard thru SPDIF same as my M3 right?
2. Sound Categories...can Sounds be browsed by Engine? As lets say, when
you browse you wanna just see MS20 or MOD7 or PolySynth Sounds?
3. This is just a suggestion: To save space, should i just take my Module out
of the M3, sell the Keys (61) and connected to my DAW and Kronos?
4. Can signals be routed between engines??? As to take an Oscilator from
somewhere else and run it thru MS20 as Audio...e tc...other examples.
5. Is there a new OS that i should be instaling or not yet?

Thanks it for Now.

Thanks

1. yes

2. Different engines are in separate banks as preinstalled in the preload PCG. Sound categories are not separated by Engine, but by sound "style".

3. Sure you could....but the M3 has a lot of (inferior) redundancy to the KRONOS. However, there are advantages (pads, sequencer, add more voices and polyphony, etc).

4. yes, many EXi's have audio inputs from internal or external sources.

5. No new OS has been posted on the KORG website to date.

Congratulations...you're gonna love it!!!
