Have you discovered certain techniques or loopholes to reach a result that is not directly possible on the Microsampler?
For example: we all know that the timestretching feature on the Microsampler is horrible, but has anyone figured a way to change the tempo without changing the pitch using several steps? |

If you're sampling off recordings, it's always going to sound a bit glitchy manipulating the tempo while trying to preserve the pitch due to the nature of what you're doing to the audio. I've owned three other Roland samplers and they really didn't sound any better using this feature. DAWs seem to time stretch really good, probably due to better processing power, so one trick could be tweaking your samples in a DAW, slaving the MS-1 tempo to the DAW, then bouncing them into the machine. |
