As is my custom, the first programs I try to make from scratch are breath controller patches. So.... hmmm can someone point me to the MIDI INPUT page where I can map breath control to parameters in say the Polysix or MS-20?

I see a lot of MIDI out, but not much MIDI in. The MIDI in seems to be for Karma etc.... I must be missing it.

Thanks!

I have a Breath Controller for my SY99, so I MIDI connect it to the OASYS' MIDI in. The MIDI CC is #02 is used for that. On the OASYS, CC#02 is usually the JS -Y stick.

I usually go to the Program's FILTER tab. On the main Filter page, near the bottom of the screen is OUTPUT LEVEL, which I set to "00." Next to it, is the AMS, which I set to JS -Y and intensity +99.

Of course, you can assign CC#02 in many of the MS-20's popup boxes.

Thanks Mike. I need to look again - for some reason there were a lot of places where I didn't see controller numbers but I believe I did see the joystick parameter. I guess that can be the way.

Hopefully it will work. That MS-20 is a great sounding emulation!

Thanks Mike. It works. I love the AMS mixer, it is great for breath controller stuff too.

Good going, Aron! AMS mixers are pretty powerful.
