edit: I changed the name of the thread to be more specific.
After installing USB-midi driver on my mac, , search shows nothing new by "korg" or "usb-midi driver" and I get no recognition either way on my mac or in Kronos. Manual says connect via USB and THEN turn on the driver. Makes no sense.

Have you opened your Audio-Midi Setup in OSX? If it's installed you should see it there in the Midi Studio.
There is nothing to turn on, if Kronos is on and connected, it's on. See above. _________________ Lou |

Yeah, I checked there the first time I tried this last week, there was nothing there. I have always found OSX audio-midi to be redundant. It doesn't seem good for anything, everything usually works and I can't remember fiddling with it for many years. Your right it should just work.
Actually you use a term "midi studio" - I'm not familiar with that in audio-midi setup. |

There are two windows in the audio midi setup.
One is Audio Devices and the other is Midi Studio. At least that is what I have in OS X 6.7 _________________ Lou |

I think my problem is that I am using 10.6. Manual says that I should have 10.6.4.
I guess the long-postponed OSX update is mandatory now. |
