I am looking for a decent Conga program
I don't like program 19 since the Conga is too high pitched for me
Tuning it lower doesn't improve the thin sounding instrument

Who has made a new program with the aid of this (or other) algorithm(s) and the pcm conga samples which are inside the unit?

I am looking forward to your creations

Funny the one I was working on before it was lost was a conga. I wound up changing the velocity curve and pressure curve but I do not remember which algorithm I used. I will work on it again this weekend!

I need to find a good yoututbe of a song with the congas. I get going then my ears lose what I'm after. I am having problems getting a sympathetic conga on the rim. I have been working with alog 19 but I think I am switching to the wood drum alog to see what happens. I wish I could have had more success at it but I am certainly learning a lot trying. I have been switching between the pcm conga instruments, off the top of my head I think it's pcm insts 43 to 49 or close to that. Has anyone been trying this? What have you come up with?

Well there is my first problem, I was trying to tweak the rim to sound like another different sized conga! Needless to say that wasn't working very well at all.

And once again I lost my work because I tried to write it to memory wrong. I need to do this when the kids are in bed. Laughing On the plus side, every time I try, it gets a little easier to remember the steps.

Yesterday I assigned Rim PCM sound 26 to the Rim
Must be working ...

The more I work with the Wavedrum the more I miss an USB back up facility. Crying or Very sad

Where's the sound on 1:36 in this video?

I didn't found it in my WD Oriental

(on a German forum someone even stated that the silver WD have better presets than the WD Oriental. Perhaps also better conga sounds?)

That was Program 15 Djembe (double-size). Factory setting with no adjustments.

Don't be fooled by any confusion between the Silver and Oriental Wavedrums. The Oriental contains ALL the identical sounds and programs as the Silver version. The Oriental adds additional sounds and loops but the original sounds are exactly the same.
