i got logic and it would be cool if i could use the microsampler as a midi controller but it doesnt seem to detect anything besides the keys.
anyway to get it to work???  |

Hello lcplcp1,
The MicroSampler has a limited set of Continuous Controllers that it sends.
Parameter/ FX Control knob 1 CC#12,
Value/ FX Control knob 2 CC#13
You'll have to configure Logic to respond to those controls, it doesn't automatically do it.

can u translate that to english??
what im saying is when im in logic trying to assign the controls it wont learn anything besides the keys.
e.g i tried assigning the microsamplers rec button to control logics rec button but it wont learn it.i can however assign any of the keys to trigger logics record button but this isnt what i want. thanks for the help though |

Alright I'll try to put into english...
The only MIDI controls that the MicroSampler sends via MIDI is the two knobs.
The rec button isn't a CC# so it doesn't send anything via that.
It might send something via system exclusive.
Your original question centered around MIDI, so that's where I started.
There has been some discussion in the Logic forums about 3rd party apps to convert SysEX to a MIDI CC# for use in Logic but it seems rather complicated and time consuming.
