I got my Kronos yesterday. Never had any Korg instrument before. Have played Roland and Yamaha. It may be intuitive to Korg owners but I'm trying to get off the ground with basics - and have not hit the ground running. I was able to audition many patches via the category program list (and that took me a while to find cause I kept running into the alpha/numeric Bank designation listing, not the actual instrument name list which I wanted. Can you tell me which menus to go to to select and put together my patch list to run through on a song?

Never mind. I called up Korg Tech Support and they explained it to me and I've got it going. FYI, their advice worked more effectively than the beer and wrench idea that was volunteered by the previous poster.

As you know by know, you can use combis to layer/split all desired programs including external setups. Then you can use set lists to order them. If a single program is good enough then you can add them too in the set list.

Good luck and enjoy.

Yes, thank you, that's what I'll be working on next, setting up the set lists.

This is my new favorite answer for how to fix something. I'm pretty sure I've done it myself about a thousand times.

I tried that method and it didn't work ..... but I did feel much better about it afterwards.
