changed them all to programs... wala perfect!
i guess its just the mix match and not using the sustain pedal + combi combi combi or no chords that messes it up... hmm... _________________

Nothing to do with your problem but...did I recognize Ensiferum's treacherous gods ?
I'm getting my K this week, really hope i won't have any problem since SST is one one the reason I bought it... |

Yes that is Treacherous gods! Its a cover my band Sirion is doing.
SST works great, it just seems that if you put a combi then a program then a combi and play it a certain way it wont work correctly. other then that perfect _________________

I replied in your previous thread, over the weekend (although my understanding of the details has evolved slightly since then). To the best of my current understanding, this appears to be a situation in which, if notes from two previous sounds are still playing while selecting a third, AND the third sound is from a different mode from the second, the notes from the second sound go into their release stage. Playing while changing very quickly through a series of sounds might cause this to happen, even if you're not intentionally holding the sounds. We're still looking into the issue.
A workaround, if you need to do two or more fast sound changes in a row, would be to make sure that all of those sounds were from the same mode. Programs could be imported into Combis, if necessary. _________________ Dan Phillips

We already cleared that in my version of the OS (Since yours is different) even three combis will not work correctly. only three programs.
This is why im wondering if i should return it or not or if im just experiencing a bug of some sort. even a limitation _________________

I understand that you wrote this, but I still think that there might be other issues involved. For instance, at least one of your Combis (I-E002 Brass) uses Timbre Thru, which can also cause the notes to go into their release phase on the change (see the quotes earlier in this thread from the Limitations section about Smooth Sound Transitions).

This seems like a software issue, and not a defect in your particular KRONOS.
Best regards,

Thank you for clearing this up. Hopefully when the new OS is out this wont happen anymore. _________________

I'm happy to report that I just fixed this issue; it was related to notes flowing "thru" KARMA, even though you weren't using it. Coming to a new OS soon. _________________ Stephen Kay - KARMA Developer • Karma-Lab - karma-lab.com
