I've not had the chance to play a Kronos yet as I'm not sure if they're already in Australia.
However is there anyone here who has produced an entire track using nothing but the Kronos and it's internal sequencer/HDR and built in fx?
I've got an old Korg T3EX and I used the limited 48ppqn 8 track sequencer, maximum 16 notes of polyphony and 2 fx processors to produce some nice sounding backing tracks and demos back in the early 90s before an Atari ST and Notator spoilt me!
I'm looking at buying a Kronos early next year if I'm impressed enough when I actually get to try one out here in Oz! I remember being blown away the 1st time I played an M1 back in 1988 and then again in 1995 when I first played a Trinity Plus.
I've recently purchased a Kurzweil PC361 and whilst I love it's sounds, it's been less than reliable with a flickering display meaning that it's already at the repairers for the 2nd time in 6 months! I don't remember having many issues with all my past Korg gear except for the occasional note popping out.
I'm very much looking forward to finally trying a Kronos when I can get my hands on one in one of our music shops! _________________ MIDITEK MUSIC PRODUCTION RECORDING & TUITION- albums, demos, jingles. Recording, arranging & mixing. |

Hi there, if by track you mean a complete song, I am certain that every single person here has done so within about 3 hours of owning the Kronos. PM me and Ill send you one that has vocals, guitar and was completely done in the K with the internal sequencer and using my Tom Anderson Tele and a 58. Although generally speaking everyone on this forum knows more than me, I posted something a month ago and no one replied to help so I hate to see someone else with no replies Although I am learning alot from everyone here.
peace
