that NONE of the analog engines include a sine wave?

I can understand p6 and ms20.. but al1 has too many vriatioons of a saw wave to not include a sine wave...

ahh... im starting to miss my radias Sad

Actual analog synths rarely include sine waves (and especially not real sine waves - that is, without any harmonics). This is at least partially because the normal method for generating waveforms doesn't lend itself to them easily. To get close to a sine wave, use a triangle wave and a lowpass filter. (Or, use the MOD-7 instead.)

MOD-7 has the same filters as AL-1, so it makes for an excellent VA. To get started, go to page 336 of the Parameter Guide ("Layering six saw oscillators"). That is an excellent synth sound, so try it! After that, try 6 Sines.
