I don't know if this is helpful to anyone on these boards, but I thought I'd share it, because it's come in handy for me.

I made this little tempo calculator in maxmsp, which helps me figure out what value to give the microsampler for original tempo, allowing me to beat sync my samples.

All you do is open your sample using the replace message, input the number of beats in the sample, and it will output the BPM. If you double click the "transport" object it will open the transport window, allowing you to turn on a click. You can play the sample back, looped, in max with the click to hear if the BPM sounds correct.

this sounds so good. is there any trick to accomplish that using pc? i dont know what maxmsp is but i would love to have somthing to get some sync.
microsampler is not good synching at all
