I have a silver Ultimate Apex AX48 Pro that I've used for about 4-5 years now that I really like. It's always been rock solid and is a breeze to transport and set up. I've never had problems with pedal placement with the base like some have. I just picked up a pair of the longer bars for my K88 though, just to give me a little bit more security.
I used to have a black one that I sold because my primary keyboards at the time (Motif and Fusion) were silver. Now that I have the Kronos and am most likely going to be using either the Axiom or the Kurzweil on top, I kinda wish I had the black one back. _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

I think the reference was to the newer AX90 stand rather than the older AX48. I still have my old black AX48 knocking around too! _________________ Kronos 73 Mk1, Roland Fantom 07 and a studio full o'stuff! |
