[Electro Drops]

Hi guys

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on my current situation??

Over the weekend I setup some patterns and new arranges on my microsampler and wanted to record my music to Logic Studio 9. I had the microsampler plugged in via USB cable but for some reason I couldn't hear the sound coming from the korg. Logic was receiving the midi messages but not the sound from the sampler??

How would I go about recording my mixes and beats from the sampler into logic??

Does the USB port send sound data as well as midi or only midi??

I don't want the recording to be just a sound file as I need to be able to edit the track in Logic....

Any ideas??

My setup is below;

Korg Microsampler
iMac i5 (mid 2011)
Mac OSX 10.7 Lion (32-bit kernel)

The USB functionality of the microSAMPLER only sends MIDI and patch data, not real-time audio. To record the mS's audio, you'd need to hook it up to your computer's mic input jack, or invest in an audio interface or sound card for better quality.
