So I figured out how to create odd time signatures by plugging the "reset trig in" to the step in the sequence I want to be the last beat. I've been doing 5 beats by plugging into number 10 in the sequencer (1&2&3&4&5&).
I'd like to know more about this sequencer's capabilities, namely 2 things right now:
1. How do I play my odd sequence backward/forward like I can w/ 16 beats? When it hits my plug it just restarts.
2. If I'm using the song position buttons, how do I tell the ims20 to play a sequence forward/backward? |

to answer no.1:
set the "reset trig in" to whatever step you want. above that plug there is a "sequence mode" knob. |

negative...this doesn't work.
The sequence resets when it hits the reset trig in plug, regardless of the sequence mode position.Furthermore, if you plug in the trig as the music is playing, but plug it in a beat the sequencer has already played, the sequencer will complete the fwd/rev loop before coming back on the trig. The sequencer will bypass the trig on the return pass, but catch it on the forward run, & begin the fwd-only play in the new time signature. |
