Are people taking much advantage of the huge number of DX7 patches that can be imported into Kronos?
I downloaded the huge archive of patches from these forums (nice job putting those together!) but it's kind of overwhelming having so many to wade through, and the quality seems rather varied! From my first look, there seem to be some real gems in there, but also many duplicates and boring attempts at sounds that Kronos can do better in other ways.
It occurs to me it would be useful to collect tips on specific favorite DX7 sounds people have found, what folks are using them for, etc... |

I've actually been putting them into my DX7s
There IS a difference in sound that I like.
I will put them into Kronos just for "sh1ts & giggles", but moreso when I've got V 1.5 (more memories).....
Until then I can find out which ones I like with my other machine (almost auditioning!)
