This is something I did about 3 weeks ago. I put on the fake accent for fun. Everything is cone on the Kronos except for the acoustic guitar. I recorded it all onto my Yamaha AW 16 G. I used an old Sennheiser MD 421 mic for the guitar and my Apex 435 for vocals which I run first through my Behringer Tube Ultragain preamp.

Now if I could just find out who stole my EX-800. I've finally got my Kronos 73 key! My main keyboard is my Monotron! I'm also a very bad man with 2 Roland U-20's and an E-Mu Proteus 2000 rack module plus an old Hammond M-3.

I like the song, very well done. But when that acoustic guitar comes in, the rest of the instruments just don't compare in terms of realism. Not sure if some tweaking is needed, or if its the equipment used, or if its just a problem with the mix.

I like this one too, Jeremy. You're a good songwriter. But it seems the percussion and vocals need to be toned down a bit as they overpower the rest of the instruments.

Thanks for the listen! I"m not sure about why the guitar sounds more real than the other instruments but I have to admit that I never noticed that. I do find that the violin needs a bit of work though. Probably need a real violinist.
As for the percussion and drums on the second track, I wonder if it's my monitors and/or room. I did want the drums up to kind of get a Led Zeppelin thing going. Anyway. Thanks again! _________________ I've got a Univox Minikorg, a Polysix, a Wavestation EX, and a Triton Pro-X. Been a Korg user since 1974. Now if I could just find out who stole my EX-800. Pardon my ignorance, but how did you patch sound-cloud to the post?
Very convenient not having to navigate away from here.
Nice tune by the way.. You did a great job on "Leo" and your dad has a great set of pipes! _________________ Lou
