The file is here- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1715217/sampleloop.wav
Once the low pass filter completely opens, I want to have a nice and booming sub-bass appear underneath. However, whenever I try and add one at the volume I want, the master volume immediately goes over 0,0 dB and clips.
I end up having to lower the sub bass to around -20 dB to prevent clipping and leave room for other instruments, to a point where you can't really hear it at all.
I have tried opening up that synth loop in an EQ analyzer and looking at it- it doesn't appear to have much below the 120 hz range once the filter's fully open, but for safekeeping I've even tried cutting the low-shelf- yet I still can't get the subbass under there.
Any ideas on how I could get a sub properly in there? _________________ Current: MS-20 Mini, Minilogue, SY77
