Hi all,

I am zooming in on the vector envelope in my quest to understand the Kronos. And it doesn't do what i expect, so i am doing something wrong or there is a bug.

I have set up 4 programs in a combi, all very different from each other so they are good to tell them apart soundwise. I assigned each program to one of the 4 directions (x, y, -x, -y) on the vector volume tab. I set up a vector envelope that goes through all corners. I have checked the key sync parameter.
Now if i play one key the envelope plays as expected. While holding this key, if i then hit another key the vector will not always start on the beginpoint for that key, it sometimes starts on somewhere in between. It is as if the envelope from the first key is influencing the envelope of the second key, but not in the same way as if i set the key sync off. Strange. Does anybody have a suggestion or is this a bug?

Did you find a solution to this? I encountered the same problem.

Do you have Keyboard Track/ Key Ramping set up as AMS to do anything?
That is one feature that can set keys apart for the sound they note out.

Velocity scaling also possible where velocity is tied to a parameter that changes the sound of a note depending on how you strike the key.

If these kinds of influences are not in your mix, then maybe it is a bug.

Page 71 parameter guide has details about Keyboard track/ Ramping. Also more on Page 83.
Maybe it does not apply to you but worth a look into.
